Why it works

Built to make words stick

Look, remember, flip

Every card shows a picture, the sound and the word. Try to recall the meaning, then flip to check.

Six kinds of questions

So you know the word, not just the card.

  • Meaning → word

Back at the right moment

Each right answer pushes the next review further away. Miss one, and it returns sooner.

How it works

Three steps, every day

  1. 1

    Choose your level

A1 to C1, or take the free level test first.

  2. 2

    Meet new words

5 to 20 a day, on picture cards you swipe.

  3. 3

    Answer, then come back

Quick questions now. Reviews later, when each word is due.

Start at your level

5,500 words, grouped by topic

Every word, definition and example comes from our English vocabulary lists: 300 words at A1, 600 at A2, 1,000 at B1, 1,500 at B2 and 2,100 at C1, grouped by topic. Each card links back to its topic page.
